I signed up to go to Mason's field trip to the zoo having no idea what I was in for....The night before I had a horrible night at work and came home early to get 3 hours of sleep before the field trip. 8:00 comes really early for those with afternoon kindergarten :( They gave me my group of 4 girls and mason and we loaded on the bus. My group was almost perfect half of my group fell asleep on the way up.
We got to the zoo and it got a little crazy. We were supposed to stay in two groups but there wasn't a chance of that so I just kept track of my 5 almost perfect kids. I say almost because 5 minutes after we were there they started chanting snakes, snakes, snakes What?? I don't even go to the reptile house with MY kids! I saw a goose walking around with her cute little babies and pointed them out to my group. I turned away and one of the girls ran over and picked up one of the babies! Hello!! Geese are mean!! The mom starting hissing at her and trying to peck her. I was yelling at her to put the baby down { heck no was I going over there to help :)}
Over all it was a good day and my kids were great, they even let me sleep on the way home :)
