Congrats Griff & Tier!

For some reason I didn't get many pics at my brother Griffin's wedding. Maybe because I was worried about Mason lifting Tierney's dress a little to high (while holding the train) or Parker dropping the rings on the deck (whew they didn't make it through those tiny cracks) Anyway I did get a pic of me, Griffin and Morgan but whoever took the pic didn't know the "from the head up" rule so you won't be seeing that unless some major crop work is done first! Congrats little brother. Tierney we love you! Claire, Parker, Brynlie & Mason

I'm torn!!

I have always loved Halloween! I love cute matching costumes for my boys but I am afraid they are getting too old for cutsie costumes. I don't want Mason to go to Kindergarten in a "baby" costume but am I really ready for Optimus Prime and a red Power Ranger???? Any suggestions??

I met Chandler Bing!!!

So, I was all bummed out that my brother's wedding dinner was on the same night as my Bunko groups cabin trip but it turned out to be worth it. The dinner was at the Courtyard Marriot (right next to TGI Friday's) Jake and I were the first ones there and I swore I saw Matthew Perry. I told Jake, "that is Chandler" he said no way and we started walking downstairs with Matthew Perry! Then he believed me. Matthew's friends were hanging out upstairs in the lobby and I pretending to be ushering guests in overheard one friend (ha ha no pun intended) saying they were all meeting back in the lobby at 7:20. At 7:10 my sister and I headed upstairs to do some stalking! There was a limo service out front so I knew he would be there soon! He walked in the lobby and my sister says, "MATTHEWWW PERRRY" and asked if we could get a pic with him. He was nice and put up with us taking pics! I have never been a celebrity stalker but decided it would be really fun :) Anyway don't look at my double chin in the pics (and what is with my friend Matty's tan???) oh and just so you know, my hand was on his back in this pic!

My dinner group mess

My friend Kelli (who has super-human domestic powers) posted a recipe for pizza rolls on her recipe blog. Well the words "fast and easy" caught my eye and I decided to make them for dinner group tonight. This is her pic and recipe for the rolls:

First roll out your dough into a big rectangle like shape. Then spread out your toppings on all of it. But leave about an inch of topping free dough on one of the long sides so when you roll it up it will stick. Top with cheese. Roll up like when making cinnamon rolls as tight as you can. Then cut in about 1 inch rolls. Arrange on a Pam sprayed, foil lined baking sheet for easy clean-up. Bake at 350 for about 20-22 minutes. Dip in your favorite sauce immediately. These can be frozen and enjoyed at a later date. Sorry there aren't any measurements. I just wing this recipe. But it is really easy and fast. You can even cut up all your toppings earlier for an easy put together dinner. Serve with a side salad.

This is what mine looked like:

This is what my group ended up getting (Sorry Paige, Angie & Kristen)

Note to self: when Kelli says, "fast and easy" it means fast and easy for her not you :)

One more project down!

Besides the basement, I have had to redo the boys rooms. They used to share (because I am selfish and had to have my junk room) So, this is Mason's room and now I have to start working on Parker moving to the junk room!

It is supposed to look like an old mechanics garage! Thanks honey for putting up with all of my projects!
and yes, the princess puppy in the corner is Mason's :)

Parkers turn!

Today was Parker's first day of pre-school! Up until a couple weeks ago I was worried about him even staying (since he has never stayed one Sunday in nursery) but then he started asking when he could go to school he even told me he wanted to walk to school himself! (that's not going to happen) He did great! I later found out that him and Mason walked over to his teacher's house about a week ago just to say hi. (I know, embarassing!) I ended up having a whole hour to myself! (Sorry to everyone who got a text of me rubbing that in)
