Christmas morning continued

Every Christmas morning we go to my Grandma's house for the best scones and homemade jam ever!Don't I have the cutest Grandparents?? Wait..it get's better

This is most of the great-grandkids. After hanging out at Grandma's for a little while we go to my mom's house for more yummy food!! This year we sang kareokee and played Parker's new guitar. Even though we agreed on no gifts this year my mom and Rhett spoiled us again! Thanks everyone for a great christmas!

And even though my house looks like this today I am sitting at the computer blogging????

Happy Birthday Avarie Ann Baker!

A revelation given to Joseph Smith in September 1830 had specified that “little children are redeemed from the foundation of the world through mine Only Begotten.” (D&C 29:46; see also JST, Matt. 19:13–15].) And Joseph taught in 1842 that “the Lord takes many away, even in infancy, that they may escape the envy of man, and the sorrows and evils of this present world; they were too pure, too lovely, to live on earth; therefore, if rightly considered, instead of mourning we have reason to rejoice as they are delivered from evil, and we shall soon have them again.” History of the Church, 4:553.) These children will come forth from the grave as they lie down—as children. (See History of the Church, 4:555–56.) They will not be expected to face in their resurrected state the same challenges we face in our mortal state, but will go on to enjoy the highest and grandest blessings of exaltation associated with the everlasting continuation of the family unit. (See Ensign, Apr. 1977, pp. 5–6.)
