field trip to the pumpkin patch

I really like going on field trips with my kids! I also love that they still want me to go!

This field trip was to a pumpkin patch where the kids got to pick out a pumpkin. Afterwards we went to a farm and learned all about farming and the food pyramid.

First Day of School...part 1

Today was Mason's first day of second grade...WOW! time goes by so fast! Not looking forward to going back to routines, schedules and homework!

Harry Potter Party 2010

My neighbor puts on an amazing Harry Potter Party every year. She sends the kids their official Hogwarts letter and everything. The boys were really excited to go...get your capes and wands ready!

Another day at the Carni....

yes I know like one day isn't enough!! However.....I did make my kids bolt because I thought I would puke so I am making up for it. AND I wanted Jake to ride the evil thing that made me sick. This is how it turned out and it made me feel a lot better :)

There is just something not right about seeing your 5 year old up that high!! He made it to the top and loved it! Yikes!

Carnival~~I finally realized how old I am today. I used to love carni rides. Spinning and heights didn't bother me anything for a thrill....so I didn't think twice about jumping on the Gravitron with my boys...hmm not so bad so why not try the Star Trooper too...barf!!! I was closing my eyes praying it would end SOON all the time hearing my kids (who are afraid to be downstairs by themselves) cheering and telling the cute carni guy (hehe) to let it go longer! I was sick most of the day! Hope it was just a fluke and my thrill seeking days are not over :( ~

Rodeo~ I am convinced the only reason my kids like the rodeo is for the snow cones and cotton candy but we all had fun and Parker LOVED the Wild Child show...and I'm always up for some people watching at the fairgrounds..yeehaw!

Last Day of School!!

Today was the last day of school!! yay for summer!! Fun Aunt Angie invited us over for a party to celebrate!!

tubes and adenoids surgery

Parker had tubes and adenoids surgery today! The Dr said his adenoids were huge!! I was so proud of him for being so brave...we had a little break down when they made him wear hospital pj's but after that he was great!!

Wow my baby turned 5 yesterday!!! Grandma Ann and Grandpa Rhett took the boys to Boondocks all day to celebrate then we had a party that night for Uncle Drew and Parker!

Yes I am behind....WAY behind but I haven't given up :)

Yesterday I took Parker and a few friends to Jumping Jack's for his Birthday which is not til Sunday but I couldn't pass up the 1/2 off Thursday deal. Alone with 6 5 year olds at Jumping Jacks....phew! Sorry about the crappy cell phone pics time for a new camera!!

I know it looks my cute little nephew is about to get punched but I promise it didn't happen :)

Spring Break Baby!!

I was a little worried about entertaining my kids over Spring Break (since we are having a wintery spring) So, we rented a condo in Mesquite with cousins and friends!! It was super fun being able to do nothing and get a little sun!

Most of the hoodlems:

when I said do nothing I meant it! :) no dressing kids or combing hair! heck I will even let you wear character shirts!

We can't go to St. George without stopping for an apple at the chocloalte factory!
