Calling all cowboys.......

The boys had so much fun at the Rodeo on Tuesday. We went to the park with the Clayson crew for some carni food then headed to the rodeo. Rocky gives us tickets every year and we had a few extra so we invited the Grandpa's and Griffin and Tierney!

Mason got kind of bored about halfway through the rodeo (me too) but he occupied his time with snocones, popcorn and licorice. Parker was mad he couldn't ride the horses, sheep, calves and yes even the bulls!
Parker has been in love with his boots and hat ever since. I have always sworn I would never have those kids that dressed themselves (for example snow boots and shorts) with Mason this idea worked pretty good. Parker on the other hand I have to choose my battles with. This is how we showed up at Wally's the next day
I'm still not giving into character shirts :)

Fun weekend!

This might be kind of a long post because I wanted to cover 2 things:

First Happy Birthday to my best friend Kelli! (Sorry I didn't stop by Friday, I am not a very good friend) Thanks for everything you are the best! And since you didn't post your memory page I am going to post it on mine :) My favorite memory is tubing down Provo river even after we swore to our parents we wouldn't (sorry mom and Sandra) Everyone talks about how much they hated High School but I loved it because we had so much fun (with the exception of toothpick which I have not forgiven you for :)) And Mexico was a blast! I will never forget my Mexican fiance :)

Second is THE Park City post: I had so much fun with some friends in PC this weekend. It is so fun to get away with no kids for a night! Thanks Lindsey for organizing it!

We left at about noon on Friday (Thanks Carlene for watching the boys!)did some shopping right of the bat and went to check in our condo. When we got there housekeeping had definitely not been there. We called them up and this hottie came to check out our room

This picture does not do her justice! I won't go into a lot of details but she was a babe! After we got the room figured out (they were very nice and we ended up with an awesome room) we went to the Loco Lizard for dinner, hit main street, went back to the condo and tried out the hot tub then stayed up late talking. It was tons of fun and I can't wait to do it again!

okay, okay I am doing it. I really didn't want to post an ugly picture of myself so I have been putting it off but here is goes ugly picture and all.... Everyone reading this HAS to do this. a milestone......

yeah!!!! I have been diaper free for one week now (well not me personally :)) I don't think I have ever been happier to pass a milestone I am not even a little bit sad to see this one go. I know this is nothing to brag about since Parker turned 3 in April but after changing diapers every day for 5 1/2 years I have to tell everyone I know!!!!! :)

I'm sure when he gets older he will be thrilled to know this was posted :)
