Memories of me.....

okay, okay I am doing it. I really didn't want to post an ugly picture of myself so I have been putting it off but here is goes ugly picture and all.... Everyone reading this HAS to do this. If I am doing it you should too :) It will be fun to see what everyone remembers about me (and maybe a little scary :))

Here are the directions:

1. As a comment on my blog, leave a memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember, good or bad.

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog. If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments.
Come on all my blog followers... I want to post some about you, let's see this on your blog!!!

It would be impossible to pick a favorite memory but the one that stands out in my mind and always brings tears to my eyes is the 1st day of kindergarten. I was so afraid that you would be afraid and not go in but you were so excited and didn't hesitate a bit but I did. I did not pre-think my reaction and I suddenly got really sad and started crying. You noticed and said "you'll be ok Mom" so as the other mothers were comforting the crying kids who wouldn't go in, you were worried about me. Somewhere in my mind you are always my 5 year old little girl
. I love you! Mom

My memory is the bunko cabin trip as well. I remember Angie telling me that we had to pick up her sis-in-law and I was a bit nervous because I am always a bit nervous to start up conversations with people for the first time. But as soon as you got in the truck we started talking about Gold canyon candles and the conversation was easy from then on. You were so fun to be around that trip and I was laughing the whole time. I am so glad we became better aquainted thru bunko so that we could start our dinner group. Cant wait for Park City!!!!!

You were my walking buddy in Mr. Belnaps class...what was it called? If I remember right we were so good in that class that they put us in the yearbook!! Don't you feel cool, I do! :D You were the only reason I went to that class, thank you for your friendship! BTW, remember Faustino? It was good to see you at the baby contest too!

For not knowing you to long, the thing I remember, and love most is that I have always felt very comfortable around you, and my first time at bunko you talked to me and made me feel welcome right from the get go. Thanks, and heres to many more memories.

Yay!!! OK. I've been waitng for this post. And, you look darling as usual! OK, I have lots of memories. But, I love the ones from when we were YOUNG! Like working at Hickory Kist Deli together. We had fun getting even with a certain co-worker. Although, I did feel guilty for months!

But, I do remember the first time I met you. I think Mike and I were just married and Jake told me that he wanted me to meet his new girlfriend. So, we came to the house to check out this "new girlfriend". I wasn't so sure about sharing my little brother with a girl. But, from the moment we met, I fell in love with you too. You're the sister I never had! I love you!

Unfortunately we don't have too many memories together, but that is all going to change this weekend. Park City, baby! I really just enjoy sitting with you at bunko. My favorite comment is when I said I wanted to get a tattoo and you told me to get some "cream" that will "ease" the pain. You know what I am talking about. I just don't want to post the real name because someone might take it wrong. I justlaugh each time I think about it. I'll never forget someone, I think it was Mindi saying "What is that for?". So funny and I have really enjoyed getting to know you better.

Hey, I read this Sam. I have too many memories. How about the little "hottie" in Mexico that proposed to you. I still don't know why you didn't say yes. And one word- Toothpick. I'll stop here. Thanks for being a great friend! I will always be glad for Brand-X bringing us back together. :) And what's this with old lady? Good thing I will always be younger than you. If I'm old, you're ancient.

Okay, where do I start. I remember meeting you for the first time. We had just moved in, right before Christmas, you guys brought over one of those big white cheddar popcorn buckets. I remember thinking that we were going to be best friends. The next morning I woke up at 6:00am and asked my mom if I could go over to your house to play. =] Walking to Sage Creek on the first day of kindergarten with you...Making lists of things that we wanted to do during the day and then voting on them. (I always wanted to play super mario bros. LOL!!)American Girl Dolls, Kristen, Samantha & Molly. You, Rindy & I all got them for Christmas one year. Riding bikes to Brookeside Market. Remember that place?? All of the fun trips to your cabin. Remember that time we all got stuck in the mud and we had to hike in?
Wow, we go way back. Like 24 years or so? Thanks for your friendship. I'm so glad that we can still keep in touch!

I would have to say that my fav memory of you, is the first year we went to the cabin. Stephanie's van got a flat the morning we were leaving. It was lightly snowing and a bit muddy, but you climbed under that stupid van and changed the tire. We were all amazed at how much you knew about changing the tire. You are one tough little lady!!
