Saying Goodbye and moving on

Well I knew the day would come but I was still not prepared to say Goodbye to our dog Milo who we got when Mason was a year old. He has been such a sweet dog and it was so hard for me and the family to say goodbye. He got diabetes and was just too sick to have a quality life. The days following were hard on us. Hard telling the boys, hard looking for him when I got home, hard seeing his dog dish...HARD!

After a couple weeks, the boys (especially Jake) started asking for another dog. I just couldn't bring myself to do it. Then I saw a post on facebook from a friend that she was looking for a home for 1 year old dog. I looked into it and after seeing him I was in love. We have had buster for a few days now and he is such a sweet dog...a little hyper...but still sweet!

Oh goodness was my last post really the first day of school? Hmmm do I even bother to catch up? I have a whole school year to catch up on yay for procrastinators!! Well I'm not sure anyone even reads this anymore but I do want to catch up for my own sake so let the posts begin :)

Smile Baby!!

I know I know he is probably too young to have braces but he has been so self concious about his teeth and stopped smiling big in pictures. I remember hating my teeth when I was going through that akward stage so I told him we would see what the ortho said...and ta ta...

I personally think he is pretty proud of them. The fact that is little brother is jealous probaly helps...weird kids...want braces??
