I'm torn!!

I have always loved Halloween! I love cute matching costumes for my boys but I am afraid they are getting too old for cutsie costumes. I don't want Mason to go to Kindergarten in a "baby" costume but am I really ready for Optimus Prime and a red Power Ranger???? Any suggestions??

They will be cute no matter what. I know what you mean about the matching costmes, though. They're so cute! Sadly, we aren't doing them this year.

I love matching costumes too, but this year we are not going to match at all. Rowen is going to be a monkey, because his is one. You should see this kid climb. Lexi, well this is where I am a little mean. She really wanted to the be Hannah Montana, but I talked her out of it. She is going to be Snow White. I know that every little girl is going to be Hannah Montana and I hate to be the exact same as everyone else. The Snow White costume is mine from when I was little and it is a limited edition that only Disneyland employees could purchase, my aunt scored it for me when I was little because I looked like SW. Wow, holy book for a comment, sorry. Anyway, I think you can still get away with anything in Kindergarten, so take advantage and get one last year of having some say in what Maison is for Halloween. If nothing else you will make me feel better because I feel a little guilty for making Lexi change her mind. LOL

I miss those days too! For the last few years its been the Grim Reaper, which he called the grim weeper so I still thought it was cute, dinosaurs, skeleton pirates,oh and a dead knight. We've been out of the cute costumes for awhile. Whats sad is Ethan who is two is skipping the whole cute costume thing because he thinks he is 8 too. :(

You can still do cute without them knowing, or going towards action figures. For example
Pirate: fun but not dumb
Scarecrow: simple and "cute" without them realizing it

I also think it's all about getting back to the traditional halloween costumes, and you could really do something fun.

Okay, this is me being a good stalker! I have finally decided to be a nice, comment leaving stalker since starting my blog. You know, personal goal and all that other stuff. Anyway, good luck with the costumes. Having only girls it is just princess costumes year after year. Also, so jealous about Chandler Bing! Was he sober?

You know I'm a freak. You're asking the wrong person. I want my 4th grader to be a teddy bear or something to match my little boys! haha. But, he has told me he wants to be Cosmo. So, I'm thinking the little boys could be football players and then they'd coordinate and I'd still get my way!
